Getting Started

Enroll online to obtain a username and password. Login to download the Data Rebound backup agent, a small click-to-install program for your computer or server.

Once installed, the Data Rebound Backup program will present you with a wizard, that walks you step by step through selecting files to be backed up, grouping them into Backup Sets and setting up automatic schedules.

Backup

Fully automatic, no human intervention required

Once the software is installed and configured, a schedule is set up to backup your data completely automatically, typically after business hours. Thanks to our sub-incremental backup technology based on the famous RSYNC algorithm, the amount of data actually transferred to our data centers is small and the entire process takes only a few minutes.

Initial Full Online Backup

The very first time, Data Rebound's online backup service performs an initial backup of all selected files on your computer or server. From then on, Data Rebound uses patented technology to back up data at the byte level any file that has changed. Such small data transmissions pose no performance issues for your network but guarantee data recovery of your critical files.

Securing your data

Before data leaves your computer it is encrypted with industry-strength AES 256-bit encryption. It is then transmitted to our high-security data center. Your data is always stored in its encrypted form and can only be decrypted by you in case of a restore.

Restore

Availability of your backed up data

Your data is ALWAYS available for restoration via the Internet using the backup agent program, which can be downloaded to any computer. The data can be restored to either the computer from which it was originally backed up or to any Internet connected computer.
